Everyone needs a good natural skincare routine, it is of utmost importance that we maintain our skin as we shed skin cells throughout the day. As we age our skin starts to turn duller and less glowing. Having a natural skincare routine helps in replacing the dead cells with newer ones in a quicker process.
Using the right cleanser is very important to maintain the PH. Balance of the skin. Use your cleanser according to your skin type (Dry skin, Combination skin, Oily skin)
A milk-based cleanser is used to give the skin a smooth finish. Take 3 tablespoons of milk and add a pinch of turmeric to it. The milk restores the moisture in skin while the turmeric will restore the lost radiance. Keep this mixture for two minutes and then remove it using warm water.
Take 1 tablespoon of honey and squeeze a pinch of lemon to it since they both help in cutting back oil from the skin. Since its anti-bacterial it helps in keeping the skin healthy.
Take a slice of cucumber and puree it, then add the pureed mixture to 1 tablespoon of yogurt. Apply it all over the skin and wipe it with a washcloth. This mixture will not only moisturize your skin but hydrate your skin and control the amount of oils in it.
Toning helps in restoring the lost nutrients of the skin. It is the step after cleansing.
Moisturizing reduces skin problems and while we apply it, it stimulates blood circulation and faster new cell generation. It reduces the chance of developing extreme dryness or oiliness.
